ASL TeleMed physicians diagnose and treat many common medical conditions through messaging and telemedicine visits in ASL. This includes minor illnesses, skin conditions, digestive issues, headaches, medication refills, and many common pediatric concerns. If a condition requires in-person care, we will guide you to the appropriate next step.
Yes. When medically appropriate, our physicians can prescribe many common medications including antibiotics, dermatology treatments, birth control, and medications for common illnesses. Prescriptions are sent to your preferred local pharmacy.
Yes. Our physicians can review and refill many common medications when appropriate. In some situations, we may recommend follow-up with your primary care physician or specialist.
Yes. Members can ask their physician to review and explain lab results and other medical information to help them better understand their care.
Yes. When medically appropriate, physicians can provide documentation such as school notes or work absence notes.
ASL TeleMed physicians can evaluate symptoms of illnesses like flu, strep throat, and other infections. In some cases, testing may be recommended before treatment, and we will guide you on the next steps.
