The membership model allows us to provide direct access to physicians who communicate in ASL. Instead of billing insurance for individual visits, members pay a simple monthly fee that includes messaging and telemedicine visits when needed. This allows our doctors to spend more time with patients making it feel more like a partnership in your health than an business transaction.

Yes. Many of our members have health insurance. What ASL TeleMed offers is something most of the Deaf community has never experienced before — direct access to a physician who communicates in ASL, often the same day. Instead of relying on interpreters or waiting weeks for appointments, you can communicate directly with your doctor and get guidance for common medical concerns between traditional healthcare visits, so you never have to wonder what to do next.

Our doctors and team try our best to respond within a timely manner. They will often respond quickly during business hours but will also make appointments and respond at any time depending on availability. Please allow up to 24 business hours for a messenger response or schedule the soonest available appointment through the app.

Yes – membership fees that are charged up to 30 days prior to a refund request along with future months are eligible for refunds. Please note refunds do not apply to enrollment fees.
